Rassy family donates 50 ft rescue boat
The Rassy family has donated a newly developed 50 ft rescue boat. The new vessel has on the 12 July 2019 been named "Mai Rassy".
Rescue vessel Mai Rassy will get Käringön as home port.
The new Search and Rescue vessel will be exhibited at Open Yard / Öppet Varv in Ellös 23-25 august 2019.

Open Yard weekend, 23-25 August 2019
2019 is the 26th year in a row for Scandinavia's largest sailboat show, the Open Yard. Other yacht manufacturers, boat dealers and relevant boat accessories exhibitors are invited to show boats and equipment during this weekend. There will be both monohulls and multihulls from 5-19 m. This is the only boat show in the world where you can see boat production in the making. We have real palms and a Caribbean menu.

Bluewater lecture at Open Yard
As the tradition has it, there will be an interesting lecture on Saturday evening at the Open Yard weekend 24 August 2019. The lecture will be held in English by Marco Thyssen and Laura Braive sailing a Hallberg-Rassy 53 "Ngahue IV".

There will be a pre-premiere for the first boat under construction at Scandinavia’s largest sailboat show, Open Yard in Ellös on island Orust, 23-25 August 2019.

101 sailors and 40 yachts in the Hallberg-Rassy Rally where everybody wins 2019
The 2019 edition of the traditional Hallberg-Rassy Rally where everybody wins had 101 participating Hallberg-Rassy sailors in 40 yachts. As usual, the weather was excellent with and there were only winners

Hallberg-Rassy 44 "Pleasure" in the ÅFOR around Gotland race
ÅFOR around Gotland is northern Europe´s largest offshore race. Fully cruising equipped Hallberg-Rassy 44 "Pleasure" finished on place 3 out of 47 in category B, and position 30 out of 223 boats overall.

Hallberg-Rassy Parts open the whole summer
Hallberg-Rassy Parts will as usually be open during the summer in a 260 m2 shop in the yard's marina area in Ellös.
The boat production at Hallberg-Rassy Yard is on summer vacation from 15 July until 9 August. Hallberg-Rassy Germany is available all working days the whole summer.

36 year old one off Rassker continues to win
This is a fresh photo of 26 ft one off boat "Rassker", designed and built 36 years ago back in 1983 by then 16 year old Magnus Rassy.
Rassker is just being reported as winner in category 1 in Bedriftseilasen, as well as category winner in Färderseilasen in Norway.

Continuous improvements for model year 2020
• All deck hatches and side portlights into toilet rooms: clear glass with blasted effect on the inside, to allow light but obscure views
• All models: improved automatic fire extinguishing system for the engine room
• Hallberg-Rassy 44: better entrance stair area with improved length
• Hallberg-Rassy 44: bow- and stern thrusters, electric winches and anchor windlass get a 24 v battery system, which improves thrust and winch winding power as well as reduces the cable area
